Capacitance ($C$) measures a component's ability to store electric charge per unit potential difference:

- Stored Energy: $$E = \frac{1}{2} C V^2$$
- 3-Digit Capacitor Marking Code:
- First 2 digits = Significand
- 3rd digit = Multiplier (power of 10 in picofarads)
